I am glad I got this and the first issues cheap. I wish they could pick an art team and stick with it. The story jumps around alot. Great cameos throughout, but it never leads to anywhere really great. The is the second of two graphic novels collecting the first 12 issues of so. If you get tyem, get them cheap. It is kind of schizophrenic reading. Pick an art team...any art team and build on it. I had hopes, they got flushed.

2.5 starsI really like Jason Aaron (Thor, Scalped, Southern Bastards). I'm reading this because of his success with Thor for the last six or seven years.The core is Iron Man, Cap and Thor. They are fine here, but not special. Captain Marvel adds little, but is acceptable. The Ghost Rider character is horrific. GR is among the worst Marvel characters ever made, and recasting him as a teenager with a muscle car can't save that franchise. Aaron is attempting to make the Ghost Rider a figure with deep history (like the Iron Fist or the Phoenix). It doesn't work. Aaron has also made She-Hulk stronger, and others are describing her as the strongest Hulk ever. Ridiculous. The strongest Hulk ever is Banner, and probably the Banner from 321 and 322 (mid-80s). Here, the character either is Hulked out or a lame love interest for Thor.Aaron is trying to put a stamp on the book. A book that is supposed to be a flagship Marvel book, but other than the Bendis run and a few different stories from a long time ago (Masters of Evil 5), it has never held up as a team book when compared to FF or X-Men.I'll keep reading, as I really like Mr. Aaron's work. But he needs to work out the kinks. And kill Ghost Rider.

Great book. Look forward to volume 3

Namor makes a great a villain! He is brutal without losing his charatization. You understood his motives even though you wanted him to to get a good punch in the face! Black panther makes a great team leader, love the Agents of Wakanda, love the Winter Guard and I’m intrigued by The Squadron Supreme and by evil Coulson.What I didn’t like is some members of the new line lineup.....I’m not a huge fan of Ghost Rider and She Hulk. And I prefer the mansion or the tower to the new headquarters.Over all though, I enjoyed and can’t wait to see what happens next
